When We All Run
Here I go to secure my ticket,
For a green card in Kangan
With no mind to return, who is with me on this no-return journey?
Let's wash corpse to make a living,
Let's sell our dignity to live peacefully,
Let's sell our bodies to sate our hunger,
What about our brains?
Do we sell that too,
Or do we laugh away our problems when we are our problems,
Can we laugh away ourselves?
Show me a country that willingly sells itself back into slavery?
Should we really run?
Kangan colonized us, but we run back again,
In the guise of asylum,
Seeing their successful country with technology invented by them,
We abandon our beautiful creative brains.
To live a luxury slave filled life.
Our forefathers weep up above.
We mention corrupt governance,
But we voted them in for a Congo of rockberries,
We curse them all!!
But do we curse our greed and corruption!!
We are reaping what we sowed,
Are we sober?
They come knocking again,
With grains for loyalty
Our stomachs grovel for food
Our brains cry for change
They play with us on whims,
We dance to their tunes,
Our brain's eye is red
With reluctance to think
We cheated ourselves!!!!!!!
